I did it!
I did the infamous W5D3!
It was really really hard and in the end I was actually telling myself out loud to keep going, cheering myself on. It was mostly a mental threshold, because physically, yes I was tired, but not exhausted.
The entire twenty minutes I really focused on my breathing. A good steady rhythm in my breath that translated itself to a steady pace of my legs. I started off a little too fast, but after a minute or two I paced myself down. My legs seemed to move on their own, it was mostly the breathing (not getting out of breath) I needed to to control.
After the 20 minutes were up and I slowed down to a walk I felt so exhilarated it was crazy. I didn't feel tired till a good hour after getting home. Between the end of the run and getting tired I cleaned my house, cooked lunch, I was just bursting of energy, it was amazing.
On to week 6!
